Schools will create an assignment, activity, performance task/culminating activity that incorporates Global Issues in Context as an essential resource.

In creating the assigment, the teacher and teacher-librarian will identify Ontario Curriculum expectations and provide details of strategies for teaching/learning. The activities should reflect the current TDSB focus toward non-fiction writing as an essential strategy for student success, and incorporate aspects of differentiated instruction as sound teaching practice.

Participants will be asked for feedback throughout the pilot, and are encouraged to make suggestions along the way.
